As many people I faced the problem of seeking the right url to see some content or clicking many times in the same website to get where i what to be. So I got very frustrated and start building Pau

December 7, 2021 I migrated to Material ui

I'm a fan of first creating a components system and then build the entire product with it, but there is no need to reinvent the wheel.

I started my product using styled-components, created some buttons, some inputs and some texts components as a base for everything else, but at some point it was a limitation to build faster and robust, thats why I decided to migrate to Material UI.

Material UI provides a creatheTheme api that is awesome and let you create your components system with your style on top on the Material ui components without loosing the great advantages of Material.

You can check out the product if you want here

My next step: Share styling between the app and the landing page

November 4, 2021 We have redesigned our Landing page

We have had 3 different designs on our landing page.

The first one, when we had a few features, was too simple, just images and a helper text next to the image to explain a little bit the feature

The next one had a kinda accordion, which is really complex to handle on different screen sizes

So we took the path of not "reinvented the wheel", and search which structure other people was using, and ew decides to go with this new design, you can check it out!

I would love to hear your feedback about this last design

February 1, 2021 Officially launched a version 2

After a year validating the product as an mvp I got really got feedback from some users, it was not easy to see a lot of users comming, installing the extension and then in some days leaving ans unistalling it, but I undestood those users was telling me something alog with the ones who stayed and saw all the process and chances taken along the trip.

You don't need 1000 users when you launch a product, you only need 100 users who love your product

So I got those users, between 87 and 97 users all a year.

I got some feedback, and some days ago I finally launch the version 2!!!

Whats next? integrations!!! lest see how this new beginning turns out

June 11, 2020 Make Pau public

So, the day of publish Pau came up, and I was very exited about this, so now Pau growth from 20 users to 32 users, yeah, I know, it's not a big deal, but for me, those 12 users mean a lot!!

I'm learning how to growth a product, talk to users, measurement user activity and some other stuffs. Really hope this product can make your life a little bit easier!

March 16, 2020 Finished MVP

It took 6 weeks, but I'm finally done building the minimum viable product for Pau. It took a while as a side project and some free time, but worth it. I learned some stuffs in the process: Create a chrome extention using React, and GraphQL using node and mongo DB

January 31, 2020 Came up with my idea

Some time ago, I had the Project Manager rol in a software company, so I had to check 2 or 3 projects and teams, so daily I ended up opening many urls for each product, this was a mess!! I got very stressed for searching the correct url for each project, so I decided to solve this by making a chrome extention.
