Stories to help you succeed
I want to showcase that the greatest makers also have failed projects, so others are more aware that failure is just a step towards their goal.
Happy to announce that Phoenix Down is merging with Failory to bring more stories to help makers succeed馃帀
I'm thrilled to help @nicocerdeira achieve Failory's ambitious goals for 2021!

I took some days off to visit Viena during the weekend. On Sunday night I opened the mail and found one of the best notifications that I've ever received: a stripe notification telling me that someone subscribed to Phoenix Down premium馃帀 I'm so excited that I'm writing this while going on train to Bratislava.
This is my first ever dollar I made from someone purchasing something I made and it's a great feeling!
Next step: I'll personally contact him to understand why they subscribed and to understand his goal.

Second week building Phoenix Down and I've already published 2 stories about failed projects and the lessons learned!
This one had less reach on social media than the first one, but I'll keep going.
Already got 23 email subscribers and 0 paid subscribers. Revenue is around 2$ in affiliate commissions and expenses are around 40$, mainly to host the blog on Ghost.

After a couple of weeks dealing with Ghost for the first time, I'm excited to show my new project: Phoenix Down, where I showcase stories from failed companies to help makers and entrepreneurs succeed in their projects.
Each week I'll interview makers to understand what went wrong with their projects, what lessons they learned, and what advice would they give to fellow founders when starting a company.
Feel free to ask any questions! First interview is about Ben Tossell's newCo project. It achieved $6k MRR before having to shut down.
