Job Listings and Job Insights for PHP Engineers
Initially I created phpJobs to scratch a personal itch. However, after realizing such a resource didn't exist when looking for a job earlier this year I wanted to build it for everyone else too.

I've decided to make today the official launch day. I wrote up a little article about my reasoning for starting the site and what my plans are.
Job editing will be coming soon, that will be a necessary feature as we work towards profitability.
I've got the green light to start posting jobs on the phpJobs subreddit.

It will be a while before I can automate the integration, but it will be nice to have an avenue other than Twitter.

I also reached out to two different recruiters that were trying to recruit me and suggested that they sign up and advertise their jobs.
After a bit of debate I went ahead and shared the url with a potential customer.
I was a bit nervous for his feedback but was willing to accept any feedback. Turns out he provided verify valuable and insightful information regarding my pricing and competitors.
I often get contacted by recruiters on LinkedIn due to a decade's worth of experience working with PHP in a SaaS environment. I have the benefit now of being able to try and profit off of those recruiters after I turn them down.
I decided to pull the trigger and launch publicly (without releasing the url), to ensure everything works as expected.
No real issues. π
