Front page of Hacker News!

Wo-hoo

I've been trying to get there for quite a while, maybe a few months.

And here it is, wrote somewhat motivational article about not being afraid of competition: https://pingr.io/blog/having-170-competitors-is-not-an-obstacle/

But looks like soon I'll get out of the frontpage.

But still, at least it gives some confidence that you can do this :)

Well done! The article is brilliant.
I am building an IP Geolocation API (https://astroip.co) and I share all points.

The market of geo APIs is not as cluttered as the uptime monitors one, but still it is tough to be noticed by customers.

I truly believe that if other competitors exist, there is a reason for it and there are customers interested in that niche. The key is, what your product can add to the existing offers.
