Generated 500+ leads in 3 days

Most SaaS companies are still scared of using Facebook ads or doesn't know the power of Facebook Ads till date.

If you aren't using them then you are missing out.

We are about to launch SyncSpider, a "Zapier-like" app on PitchGround on a lifetime deal and wanted to quickly generate more leads.

Here are few important things:

  • Have a good budget.
  • Don't target the interest that everyone is targeting.
  • Split test.
  • Use CBO.
  • Use bots to semi nurture.
  • Focus on use case and not features.

We generated each of the leads at around $1.2 and we are now looking to spending another $2000 before our launch on 14th October on PitchGround.

Awesome work. Any plans to start experimenting with lookalikes based on these leads?

    1. 2

I don't use LookALike Audience much. I have got much better success with Cold Ads than the LookALike audience.

Awesome work, congrats. It’d be great to get an idea of how your adds looked or the copy used to see what worked for you.

@Deweysi We usually test out plenty of them. During the first few days, it's all about experimenting.

Many a times the copies you think will work, never works and the ones tou don't expect to work, works.

      So just keep testing heavily.

Also remember to retarget people that come to your site

That's very generic, and every marketer knows that. Hence I didn't even bother to write.

Congrats man! That's a very impressive result.

I'm very interested in speaking with you privately about FB ads.

I'm employee #1 at Evercast and we are just starting our paid acquisition efforts. We've grown considerably with word-of-mouth, and have a lot of "social leverage" with the clients we've worked with. We also have a lot of room for CAC, so I'm confident we will be able to do well with social ads.

That's awesome @tyrelj13. Let's discuss over email? You can write me at [email protected]

$600 to get 500 leads. How the heck did you do that in 2019?

    1. 4

I have been running Facebook Ad Agency since 5 years and apart from my platform and SaaS, I also manage and consult a portfolio worth $700k per month in ad spending.

I have a ton of data points and exactly know what works and what doesn't.

I also have a dedicated Account rep who constantly gives me recommendations of what's going on behind the scene.

If you have questions on FB ads then please ask me. More than happy to answer them :)

I have mostly witnessed facebook ripping off entrepreneurs with their overly priced ads but now it looks like you are the one ripping off facebook!

        1. 2

Most people watch a YouTube video or take a course and call themselves experts. They have absolutely no clue what they are doing, how to build funnels, build ad system, drive targeted cold traffic etc.

Even worse, the ad copies are crap.

Facebook is not at all ripping people off because they have a bidding system for their ad platform, just like Google.

People just need to know what they are doing. If they don't then spak to the right people :)

      2. 1

        That's really impressive!
What did your cpc look like and how about your conversion rate?

I was one of those that clicked on your FB ad - I guess you targeted AppSumo users?

Anyway the attraction for me was "lifetime deal" for a Zapier-like tool, that's the main reason why I clicked.

    1. 1

I am targeting a ton of interest around marketing, so it's impossible to measure as Facebook doesn't provide you the data which interest resulted in which lead unless you break down your adset which is not a good idea and can lead to 50% overlapping audience which will ultimately result in costing you 30-70% higher lead cost as you will be bidding with yourself.

    Great results!

Could you elaborate on your use of bots? Some details?

    1. 0

Sure, so right now we are using Manychat and we have created a sequence to get lead and meanwhile, we are also sharing valuable information with them about the product to nurture them.
