Pophurdle has run on 1M+ pages!!!

I can't believe it...

My lightweight, privacy-based popup blocker broken the million mark.

In future updates, Pophurdle will have fully migrated to an analytics solution that is not Google based (ex. plausible). It still is heavily anonymized regardless, but this just helps prove the point even more.

If you have not checked it out yet, it's free!

It helps stop the disable Adblock popups when it can while also dealing with passable paywalls when browsing. And the best part is you don't give up any private data, unlike what the alternatives take like what you type into forms (yes some extensions really do that).

I only ask for an email to send updates infrequently and never will spam you because I don't like it either.

Cheers! https://pophurdle.com/
1M was achieved on Sept 21st!

@Aidan: Hey Aidan, I recnetly installed your plugin. It works great but as a developer I faced a weird issue. Your extension was deleting my local storage data that I was using to persist session in web application. In most of the cases this make sense since you might wana delete data stored by others but I did not realize that and I end up wasting full day on it.
Please don't get me wrong. Your plugin is great but I was just wondering if there would be a warning (or maybe something else) that can warn user about deleting localstorage data and educate them as well, it will help to save developers hours as well as support hours (if people use our software and if it does not work than they will surely call us). Most of the people might not care about it but somebody like me can save hours.

Thank you again for making this great plugin.

Thank you so much for this, I know this is a problem and will include a warning/fix in the next update. Immense apologies for the inconvenience that was caused! The next update should come sometime in November so disable it until then if it's that bad.

    Congratulations!

Does this mean that currently pophurdle automatically adds Google Analytics to any page you visit?

It's anonymized and usually sent when you report a broken site or click the icon. Knowing pages with high hit counts is important if a website breaks but it should have no specific user info associated with it.
