PostSheet got its first paying customer today: An Italian agency that is using it to send marketing emails.
There are people and companies that are using it for other kinds of stuff (like contacting job candidates, asking for internship opportunities, sending product updates, etc.) but they are still using the free tier and have yet to convert to any paid plans.
What's next? I have two big features in mind which will allow me to add some interesting and useful integrations but before that, I'm gonna improve the home page, add a tutorial video, and feature some use-cases.
Just posted PostSheet to Product Hunt.
PostSheet is a simple tool that lets you use Google Sheets to send personalized emails.
On Oct 15, I announced on my Twitter that I was gonna build and launch PostSheet in 3 days. I was inspired by the great community of indie hackers building their products in public.
I managed to build an initial working version in three days but couldn't launch it because PostSheet needs Gmail access, and had to go through a verification process by Google 🤦♂️
It took almost two weeks and many emails to finally get it approved. I used this time to polish it more and made sure there were no embarrassing bugs.
So, last week I finally launched it publicly but since it was election time in the US, I decided to delay the Product Hunt launch by one week.
And now here I am, 27 days later, finally with PostSheet on Product Hunt.
Please check it and if you like it, give it some love 😊
I just released the first public version of PostSheet.
PostSheet is a simple tool that lets you use Google Sheets (and soon Airtable) to send personalized emails.
It's like Sheet2Site but for email :)
I made PostSheet to scratch my own itch. While working on my previous startups, I always needed an easy way to send emails to my users and customers (to ask them for feedback, give them discount codes, etc.) and I had to resort to a bunch of complex scripts and tools to do that.
But now, I just prepare the data in Google Sheets, write the message in PostSheet, and hit send.
Love to hear your feedback.
P.S: I'm building PostSheet in public on Twitter. Love to connect with you there: https://twitter.com/soheilpro
72 hours ago, I announced on my Twitter that I'm gonna build and launch PostSheet in 3 days.
And today, I launched it :)
It's still a very early version but it works. I'm gonna keep working on it while it's been verified by Google and then launch it on Product Hunt next week.
I started PostSheet to solve the problem that I always had in my previous projects: Easily sending emails to my users and customers.
