Hello product people 👋🏻

Last week, we made a decision about our product updates. We used to share our news every two weeks.

From now on, every impactful change (feature, improvements, etc.) will now be visible at any time. Keep an eye out — you might get an update soon 🐣

📌 Task Management Planning Mode

As you might have already tried, we launched the task management module last week. This week our team is bringing a new feature that will be useful whenever (a.k.a most of the time) you're planning.

Using the 'Planning Mode' in the upper right corner of your backlog, you can easily drag and drop issues to your sprint or vice versa.

Simply click the button and select the sprint you want to add an issue — the rest is drag and drop.

This update is an exceptional one. A special thanks go out to our team for creating such an amazing task management module! We appreciate every bit of sweat that went into it 💪🏻

Let's get straight to the good news:

🕵🏻‍♀️ Backlog — Prioritize tasks with your team

The Backlog section shows you the list of tasks. You can add an issue and make changes quickly without going to the detail page. Give effort and impact scores to prioritize with a deeper understanding.

🏃🏻‍♂️ Active Sprint — What's on your plate?

Right after planning the sprint, you can start it and see what's your teams' current tasks from 'Active' section. This section shows more than what are the tasks. Create your workspace to explore our new module 👀

🏄🏻‍♀️ Balance the sprint workload

With the help of Workload Chart you can easily balance the sprint by understanding:

  • the workload of your team members during the backlog planning,
  • how the active sprint is going based on the task status distribution.

🧑🏻‍💻 Focus on your issues

If you're a team member willing to focus on your issues, you can go to 'My Issues' section to list of all your tasks in the active sprint and history.

🪴 Improvements

  • Fixed the outside click bug of the task row dropdown.
  • Updated empty states at a page level.
  • Fixed the text-wrap bug on Planning Mode.
  • The 'Complete Sprint' button has been added to the header in Active Sprint.
  • Tasks with 'Backlog' and 'Canceled' statuses will not appear in an Active Sprint.
  • The Active Sprints are sorted by task completion level. (from 0 to 100)
  • If a task is in the Active Sprint and you set its status to 'Backlog', it directly goes to your backlog — so you will not see it on your active sprint anymore.
  • If a task isn't in the active sprint and you add it to your Active Sprint, its status directly becomes 'To Do.'
  • You can now archive tasks and epics and restore anytime you need.

Hello product people 👋🏻

We're kicking off September with a product update packed with amazing new features and improvements 🤹🏻‍♀️

Let's take a look at them:

⚡ Documentation Module: Quick Action Menu

The feedback module has a quick action menu that you are familiar with.

We added it to the documentation module so you can change the labels at once and keep your docs organized.

🔎 Documentation Module: Search

Use our new search bar to find documents by entering your document titles.

📨 Automated Email: "You just received a comment!"

When an admin leaves a comment on the user portal, the user creating that feedback and users who upvoted will get an email. That means when you or anyone from your team submit a comment, interested users will be informed automatically.

❓ Forgot Password

Most of the time making the right prioritization is something we, as product people, struggle. Until today, we've always put our customers' need first.

As our users requests it, we're releasing the forgot password feature with this update. In case you forget your password, now you can change it from your login page.

✨ Stripe Integration: Billing & Plans

If you'd like to upgrade your plan and make the most out of Producter, now you can go to Billing and Plans pages on the settings.

We also integrated Stripe for our users to make their payments smoothly.

Improvements

  • Improved the editor in the Documentation Module.
  • Improved the design of documentation detail page. Now you can see the last edit history as well.
  • Added new empty-state images for the Billing page.
  • Now you can change your payment method on the Billing page.
  • The billing and plan pages have been improved.
  • Fixed the scaling issue on the sign-up page.
  • We added the Intercom integration script for onboarding on Producter.
  • When feedback is submitted via the widget, portal, or link, the feedback status value is set to "No Status."
  • Improved the route structure on the Settings.
  • Added sample documents in the documentation module to improve user onboarding.
  • Improved the design of Integrations page on the settings.
  • Updated the sign-up screen
  • Fixed the width of the 'back' button.
  • Updated the navigation menu.
  • Fixed the login redirection error.
  • Fixed the responsiveness issue on the keyboard shortcuts.
  • The plus and minus buttons are now visible when zoomed out on the Plan page.
  • Favorite feedback on listings was shifted out of order due to a bug
  • Solved the problem of having a four-character limit for the regex domain extension used
  • Now, you can delete a document label from the Settings.

While summer has come and gone, we are also speeding things up at Producter ⚡️

We are growing and becoming stronger every day as a team. Our business and product strategies are being improved by trying different methods.

  • 2 new software engineers joined our team. Now we're a team of 12! 🎉
  • 32% more workspaces were created compared to July.

  • As our private beta phase ends, we have launched an early bird campaign for our users! Several new product companies have already taken advantage of their benefits.

  • We used to keep our Support Guide on Notion. Now, we moved it to a Ghost CRM. You should definitely check out our Producter Docs!
  • Our Slack community has now 600+ members! 👫
  • Although product onboarding and product tours are critical, we kept the MVP version until today. Now, we're focusing on how to craft an onboarding experience showing our value prop. While working on this, a tweet by April Dunford, which we enjoyed following about product positioning, caught our attention. You should definitely take a look. 🤓
  • Our website traffic increased by 17% compared to July.
  • We increased the volume of content we produce to improve our SEO score. We published 13 blog posts and saw a slight difference in our blog page traffic — however, it doesn't mean we won't keep trying.

Hello friends 👋🏻

Our team has been working hard on an exciting product update! We're launching a new module: Documentation 🎉

We're aware that there are lots of tools out there for documentation.

New Module: Research. Document. Decide. Repeat 💪🏻

As product people, we document user interviews, product requirements, research notes, and many things... We know chaos begins when we stop documenting. It's an important mechanism for creating cumulative knowledge and making the right product decisions.

In most cases, we are unable to access the right information in a short time when we need to make a call. This is because we take notes everywhere. Producter helps you make critical decisions every day, and documentation is the basis of these decisions.

Our brand new documentation module was born out of this need! 🐣 Our motivation is to remove the gap between important product decisions and critical info.

Now, you can create product docs like product specs, personas, and meeting notes on Producter — right where you make the critical decisions.

With its rich text editor, you can add different types of attachments, and links, create checkboxes, code blocks, tables, and more.

What's more exciting is yet to come!

New billing page and expecto patronum 🪄

Soon we are taking steps to launch the public beta! Producter will be free for up to 5 users once the private beta ends. Join our waitlist before the beta ends.
