November 25, 2021 Producter October Update

Hello everyone 👋🏻

October flew by with some growth news to share with you! Before diving into the update, don't forget to follow us on Twitter and LinkedIn ⭐️

  • We had 1450 new visitors to our website. Until now, Producter's website has been visited by people from 128 countries.
  • 380 new leads joined our waitlist this month. At this point, we have accumulated over 1000 direct leads and 1000+ marketing leads.
  • We reached 700 followers on LinkedIn.
  • Over 1000 people from 75+ countries and 22 timezones have registered to try Producter's private beta so far! 🔥
  • 700+ people read the product updates we shared this month on our User Portal.
  • We got accepted to Workup Accelerator Program.
  • We interviewed 40+ developers to find new Producters. Our team will be expanding soon.
  • The How-To video series is now live on our YouTube channel! Watch the first video to find out how you can create internal feedback 📺

Hello Producters! 👋

This product update is a special one. As our userbase grows, we build new features to make feedback management easier for you. In this release, two new features are built as our users requested them. Stay tuned for a more structured way of managing product feedback from different channels faster and easier!

Make Bulk Changes with Quick Action Menu ⚡️

Product companies have several feedback channels, and this ends up losing control of insight flowing out. We've built the quick action menu to help you take control of hundreds of feedback at once.

When you click on feedback, we bring up the quick action menu to make rapid changes in bulk, such as archiving, tagging, or assigning a priority to any feedback group.

Add Feedback to Your Favorites List

Now you can add feedback you don't want to miss out to your favorites list. Go to your feedback list and star the critical feedback you need to take action.

The starred feedback will be listed separately on the Favorites tab to help you focus more on the important feedback.

Decide Which Module We Should Build First

What we enjoy most is listening to your voice. As we keep building Producter, we collect feedback from our users across different verticals and countries. The latest version includes a question on which modules you most need among task, roadmap, changelog, and documentation.

Hope you are all having a great start to your week! We're back with new features built for you. With this product update, you'll see exciting improvements to the feedback widget and the user portal.

Connect with Your Customers through a Click

Communication with the customer gave feedback is critical. By clicking on the user's email address, you can now send an email. This will help you grasp the nature of the features request or bug report faster. Just click on the Users tab on the Feedback Management module and select the critical feedback. Send a brief email to learn more about the feedback.

Powerful API to Modify the Feedback Widget

The feedback widget is being used more and more every day. We are glad that you have provided us with various ideas on how to improve it. This is why we built a robust API to allow you to modify the feedback widget.

You can also use our APIs to override the style or text. If you'd like to use the feedback widget in your local language, this is the easiest solution for now. Here you can take a look at our guide on how to leverage the API 🚀

Public Roadmap to Show the Progress

Building in public is our cardio as a team. Sharing what we're working on with our users is very valuable to us. It's an exciting new development that our public roadmap will be available on our user portal from now on. In the upcoming releases, it will also be available to all our users. Here you can take a look at what Team Producter is building for you 💥

Summer is over, leaves are changing—it's time for the pumpkin spice latte! With the summer behind us, we're happy to have achieved our first milestones together. Thank you, Producters, for being part of it 🙌

Capture Screenshot on Your Feedback Widget

As it's one of our most used features, we keep improving the feedback widget. We announced in the last product update that you can customize the widget to match your brand colors. From now on, you can also capture a screenshot of your feedback to give a more visual explanation. Visit our website to try the widget yourself: https://producter.co

Customize the URL of Your User Portal

The user portal is your dedicated feedback board provided to your customers to share their ideas. We create a unique user portal for each workspace with a default URL as companyname.producter.co/portal. With this feature, you can now change it to companyname.producter.co/give-us-feedback or anything you want.

Connect Feedback with a Task in Few Clicks

The countdown has started for the task management module! You'll be trying it yourself before September ends. In the last update, we mentioned the add to backlog button, and many of you asked questions— so we'd love to fill you in on the details.

In a few clicks, you can add important feedback to a task by clicking the add to backlog button on the feedback detail page. You can either create a new task linked to the related feedback or merge feedback with an existing task. So it makes it easier for you to act on valuable insight without losing the task history or missing out on any critical feedback ⚡️

  • 100 new workspaces created, and %42 of them are qualified 🚀
  • 2 companies have started using Producter actively.
  • We collected 64 valuable feedback to improve Producter. Special thanks to our users for helping us to shape Producter 🙌
  • We had product interviews with 12 companies.
  • We met 1 startup-friendly accelerator.
  • 400 new leads joined our waitlist, and we have received an average of 5.4 new leads a day.
  • We had 2000 visitors to our website. The website traffic increased by 165% compared to the previous month.
  • We've launched 4 new features to improve the product management experience of our users.
  • Currently, we are in negotiations with 4 shortlisted VC firms on our seed round. We'll be meeting 4 VCs from the US and 1 from Europe next month. 🤝
  • We got listed as one of the 10 Startups to Watch

Hello, hello!

We've been sharing our product updates with you for two months now, and it makes us feel even better when we share our journey with you. Thank you, Producters, for being part of it 🙌

Let's get started with what's new! 🚀

Switch between workspaces in one place

Now you can manage more than one workspace in the same account easily. All you need to do is creating a new workspace with the same email. It's done. You'll be able to switch between workspaces without having to log out of any of them.

Customize the widget with your brand colors

We've built enhanced color options for you to fit the feedback perfectly with your product or website. You can choose any color code to customize your widget from workspace settings. Moreover, you can place the widget in eight different positions on your website or product.

Good Bye 'Save', Welcome 'Add to Backlog'

Our good old friend "Save" button is not with us anymore, which means you can inline edit all fields on the feedback detail page. The changes you make will be saved without clicking the Save button anymore.

Instead, we have a new cool kid in the game (Drumroll, pls..): "Add to Backlog" button! As we mentioned previously, we've been building the task management module in parallel.

It is one of our primary goals not to let valuable feedback slip through the cracks. This is where task management comes into play. You'll be able to turn important feedback into an actionable task by clicking the "Add to Backlog" button! The button is now available for testing purposes so that you can become accustomed to it before the launch of the task management module 💥

August 16, 2021 Producter Product Update #3

Hey Producters!

Another two weeks had gone like a breeze. Hope you are all well and enjoying summer! We're back with the latest product news⚡️

Let's check out what happened since the last update! 🚀

Get In-App Notifications on Producter

With the in-app notification, you will not need to follow up with the status of your feedback. When a teammate comments on your feedback or changes its status, you will receive a notification.

Likewise, when one of your users gives feedback on your user portal, and you change its status or comment on that, s/he will be notified. So you can communicate the feedback statuses on your portal faster and easier.

Feedback Status Change Email for Your Users

We send in-app notifications to your users when they give feedback on your user portal. However, we know that it's not comfortable enough for them to follow their feedback. So we built email notifications for feedback status changes. Even if they don't go to your portal to check their notification, they will receive an email to keep them informed about their feedback. So you will not need to spend time on over-communication.

Hey everyone! 👋🏻

We're back with the second product update. Over the past two weeks, our team developed three new features. Plus, we've started building the task management module. Stay tuned for more details. We might be giving a sneak peek in the upcoming product updates 👀

Feedback Widget

We've built a feedback widget so you can embed it into your website or product to collect feedback. By embedding the feedback widget, you'll be able to follow collected feedback on Producter and not skip any of them. Here you can find the guideline on how to embed the widget.

Admin Panel and User Portal Comments in One Place

As you may remember from the previous product update, it's possible to submit a feedback comment for the user portal on Producter's admin panel, without going to your portal. From now on, you can comment on feedback on both sides: on the admin panel and user portal. By clicking the Team tab, you can communicate internally with your team members.

New Toast Message Design

We're fans of small details as a team. We'd love to hear your thoughts on our new design as well! 🤩

We couldn't think of a better way to welcome August than a freshly baked feature set and improvements. We hope it makes you feel as excited as we're! 🎢

  • 100+ workspaces created in just 3 days. Wow.. 🚀
  • Our email open rate in the private beta is 61%.
  • And we achieved an incredible 22% conversion rate from our very-targetted waitlist during the private beta!
  • 175 new leads were added to our waitlist, and we've welcomed an average of 3.2 new leads per day.
  • Over 1100 people visited producter.co for the first time and got to know Producter.
  • We launched 5 new features to improve the feedback management experience of our users.
  • We have published 2 new blogs and 2 new glossary posts on the Producter Blog.
  • We received 48 feedback from our users during the private beta.

We're a team of 6 now. We are all different from one another. As a remote-first team, we highly value Producter culture. Sharing a common culture is what keeps us together and motivated every day.

We have started 1-1 meetings since day one. So no one feels isolated from business, product, or development processes. We answer each other's questions on the product, growth, and more. This core team of 6 has planted the seeds from the very first day and keeps working hard. We know we will make them grow.
