Production-Ready Forms

I'm happy to announce that I have first customers.

I decided to publish only 30 licenses as this is still in alpha and I hope to gain some feedback + understand the whole process.

Currently, I have 5 customers and 25 copies left to sell!

To be honest on those few sales I earned more than on whole year paywall articles on medium – those are good to create SEO for my blog though.

Waiting for feedback now...

Long time without an update here! It is caused by the #buildInPublic hashtag on Twitter that I started to use often inside the Twitter thread.

Lots of things have happened since the last entry. Here are the main changes:

• I moved the entire website to Docusaurus which is great to create documentations
• I started pre-order on Gumroad
• I decided to make docs public so everyone can see what is inside the project before buying it,
• Firebase Auth integration...

Alpha release today

Pre-order just ended 30 minutes ago and I am excited to announce that developers who decided to buy already got the code!

Now I'm waiting for the first feedback.

I've done lots of research and found a wonderful inspiration source - Dribble.

This week I focus on programming my side project.

Todo:

Components approach

Right now I'm considering between usage of UI Kitten, React Native Paper or my custom components for simple controls like Inputs, Buttons etc.

Whatever I'll choose I want to make it easily replaceable.

I try to make a consistent design of covers on my blog, Twitter and product.

I created a hero for productionreadyforms.com landing page which has the same colours, fonts and design.

I that maybe I should add some accent colour so it will be more eye-catchy.

On the productionreadyforms.com and my blog I've started the promotion of my newsletter.

I encourage visitors to subscribe for updates in Production-Ready Forms and upcoming blog posts.

So far so good.

I've written a long tutorial about my approach to form validation in React Native. The similar mechanism that I want to apply in my product. In the footer, I mentioned upcoming Production-Ready Forms for React Native and I hope that it helps me to gain interest.

I come up with an idea for React Native forms that can be reused by others. I bought a domain and created a landing page.

Now I want to create a whole app boilerplate. I think I will try to distribute it over Gumroad or as a private repository for maintaining purposes.
