After roughly about 5 weeks, we hit $100 in MRR for the new Shield product. Not too bad for a brand new service, especially since it's not even listed on our QuotaGuard website yet (I'm still working on the website to showcase the two products side-by-side).
I do have the advantage of a current customer base, as well as, inbound potential customers where we can recommend the Shield service if it is the right fit for their use case. That obviously helps with customer on-boarding for a new release.
I've also noticed an uptick in requests for fully secure solutions via the Support channel, so I'm really happy we have a product we can easily say "well, we actually have a solution that should fit your need, here's a free trial subscription, let me know how it goes..."
I expect the growth to continue. It looks like it should, at least, increase 5x in MRR by the end of November...and it's only the first week.
