After 6 gruelling years, and 3 restarts from scratch, Reetlist is now available for public consumption. A proud day indeed!
In the first two instances, Reetlist was built completely within the Microsoft stack, including an Azure backend, SQL server and MVC website. Turns out this was gonna be expensive. I have not settled on Angular8, .net core webapi, and mySql.
The hardest part has been to focus on core features in order to get a product out the door. What started out as an all singing and dancing social platform, has been whittled down just focusing on creating and sharing.
Looking forward to feedback now and making improvements!
