30% App Store Fee

My revenue is taking a massive plunge. I had a benefit with my developer account that waived the 30% app store fee for a while. I am now paying the full 30% fee again and it stinks.

I am happy for the months I had without paying the fee.. that was a blessing to help me get started. (Still wishing I had that extra revenue though!)

    Hey Nate,

If you get creative with your product strategy, you can probably get around the App Store fees to give yourself a 30% revenue boost permanently.

My strategy is to sell access to the app, rather than sell from within the app so that I don't have to use in-app purchases. Beyond the 30% rev boost, I also get paid daily into my merchant account instead of waiting 30 days for Apple to pay only 70%.

Highly underrated product strategy IMO, not enough people taking advantage.

I'll definitely have to look into that! Yeah 30% is killer. I was planning on doing this as a hobby, but it has started to grow and the fees really add up quickly!

Your revenue is not taking a massive plunge.
It used to take a massive boost ;)

That is 100% true and much more positive thinking haha. Though I wish I had that benefit now that my revenue is higher!
