Made a few bucks!

The app is currently pay-what-you-want so it's not really surprising that most people who have downloaded it -- about 20 so far -- have opted to get it for free. That said, I was surprised that 2 out of those 20 have opted to actually purchase the app, paying $5 and $3 for it, respectively.

    Good stuff @bogdanp :)

How did you market your app?

    1. 1

So far I have sent it to friends, posted it on ProductHunt and sent it to a couple of blogs (though I haven't heard from those yet).

Awesome! I have an exercise web app that is free, but has a way to donate/sponsor. I use it personally so I haven't really promoted it. Must feel good to get paid!

Isn't the first couple bucks the best? I remember for us it just validated the idea and re-energized us to keep working on it :P

I had that exact same thought: "hey, there might be something here!"
