Overnight I passed the 500 users signed up mark, which is super exciting!
I've been experimenting with paid advertising over the last few days which seems to have been driving some traffic.
I've also improved some of the 'viral loop' elements of the product which encourage users who have played a game to add and host their own games.
I'm going to work on adding an open startup page to the site to track how many users (free/paid) have signed up!
Only a day or so after launching my paid plans I had the first customer sign up which is very exciting.
I had lots of feedback from people about what they want to see in a premium plan so I will be adding more features to support this.
I'm also spending a bit more time on acquisition, testing various channels for acquiring new users.
Based on the feedback of first users I decided to add a ton of out of the box quiz templates for people to use.
While some people want to spend time creating their own quiz, not everyone has the time and want something quick.
To go along with this I also added the first basic premium plan for $10 a month, which gives users access to pre made quiz templates and a premium version of the editor which lets them build image quizzes.
I also sped up the application to make questions and answers appear faster as this was something I had feedback about.
I launched a very rough early version of the app with friends and family. I added one or two default quizzes and all the core functionality for multiple players and answer tracking. I ended up getting around 100 signups from this soft launch which encouraged me to add more features.
Getting together with friends and coworkers is more important now than ever.
I built RemoteQuiz to make it super easy to run quizzes together.
