Initial Integration + Hosting

Jimmy Lipham @jimmylipham

At this point, I completed the initial MVP that has the following:

  1. Pages for each and every package that list price, dependencies, maintainers, have a beautiful readme view, and most importantly has a buy button that uses the package owner's stripe credentials to manage payments.
  2. GitHub integration to automatically regenerate/update packages when a new release tag is made.
  3. A semi-sexy dashboard to show package stats, downloads, purchases, etc.
  4. An interface to manage licenses for each package for your customers.

Now I had to find a home for the system. A friend of mine @rmccullagh was working on his product Amezmo ( and it was billed as a one-click setup for deploying PHP applications. Laravel Forge is great, and I love the work that Taylor and team are doing over there, but it was a bit costly in addition to having the AWS charges, and I love to use Indie Hackers projects wherever I can. So we were an early Amezmo customer and we're very happy!

At this point, I still have some areas of the application, onboarding, customer journeys that need polish.
