I learned from @robwalling and @derrickreimer that setting up an early access list is a much better approach to keeping a launch sane. This approach nets a few great options:
- You can take time to address critical bugs before rolling it out to an entire group of customers.
- You can have a pretty close dialogue with the customer to pick up on gaps in onboarding or the general user experience.
- Your early access customers will probably feel like rockstars.
From this point forward, Repobox is now a production level service, so I'll be investing a decent chunk of time into reliability and redundancy so that we keep our customers (and their customers) happy.
