Write resume content in Markdown and switch b/w designs
We noticed that most resume-building platforms lack flexibility - fill lengthy forms or force us to stick with a design template that we pick initially. So we decided to create a platform that addresses these issues.
The original editor on Resumey.Pro was a pure Markdown-based editor. While developers loved using it, we noticed some non-technical users weren't very comfortable with it. There was a slight learning curve required for them to use the platform.
Also, some features like spell-check, ability to use different styles within a table (column), more flexibility in the layout were added in this release.
We also tweaked the feedback form a bit to categorize the responses better, under the following categories: feature request, bug, compliment and others.

January 2022 was the first time Resumey.Pro surpassed $400 revenue. Few possible reasons for this:
We recently introduced more features on our platform, based on our product road map and user feedback.
✨ What's new in version 2.0?
So far, we've received positive feedback and a LOT of support from the community. We're very grateful for it :)
I personally reached out to our paid customers to understand if they have any issues or feature requests. I received the following response:
"Hi Kavya,
Thank you for reaching out to me! I do have a large pain point that might drive me to other platforms. It's that I cannot split my resume to be two columns. Here are the examples. 2 columns make it so much more engaging and easy to read. You can find more examples of good resumes at this website."
We've received similar feedback from other users as well. This helps us prioritize our next set of features. Based on user feedback and our internal discussions, the upcoming features we're working on:
As of today, 5 of our customers for Resumey.Pro have converted to paid users. This is great user validation for us! Throughout our journey so far, we have asked for user feedback on a regular basis and built the platform with a lot of love. Getting paid for it is truly very rewarding! Thank you for all the love <3
We’ve now successfully completed beta testing. The full version of Resumey.Pro is ready starting today.
What this means:
Launching on Product Hunt has been one of the best decisions for Resumey.Pro. In the past month, we have had an influx of users from different countries and backgrounds. It is quite fulfilling to see the reach our product has across varied demographics and being validated by returning users.
Yesterday we launched Resumey.Pro on Product Hunt and were #3 product of the day! Overall it resulted in 2,000+ pageviews and almost 200 new signups.
The community on Product Hunt is very engaging and we got some valuable feedback and feature requests. Seeing such requests is exciting!! We are revisiting our product roadmap and refining it further.
