Sapling is ready to go!

We spent about 2 months building Sapling (https://sapling.dev/), and it's ready to go!

For the past couple of years, we built procurement and operations software for the hospitality industry. Along the way, we built several full stack JavaScript apps, and found ourselves repeating a lot of work each time. Setting up full stack CRUD functionality, implementing auth and payments, and scaffolding other pieces of our apps felt like redundant work that bottlenecked us in getting new products out to our users.

Sapling aims to take care of all that work for you... you can start working on business logic within an hour! Our web app guides you through a data modeling phase, where you specify what type of domain objects you have, and then generates a Node and React codebase with full stack CRUD functionality for your data types, auth, payments, form and API validation, and more!

We've been fine-tuning the structure and tooling of our codebases for years, so we believe Sapling will give developers lots of best practices baked in. From dependency injection to linting setup, you'll be off to a great start in your new codebase.

Check it out and let us know what you think!
