An early rebrand

Chris Draycott-Wheatley @chrisdwheatley

As much as I enjoyed the play on words of saviour.money it felt like the wrong choice for a couple of reasons.

Religious connotations

When mentioned without the full domain name Saviour sounds like it has religious implications. Using the praying hands emoji probably didn't help with this either...

Being from the UK I wasn't even aware that the US based spelling of Saviour doesn't include a U.

Given those two reasons I figured I should rebrand sooner rather than later.

Say hello to Sycamore - savewithsycamore.com.

Now that I'm happier with the branding I'm aiming to target personal finance and budgeting communities on Instagram to hopefully gain some traction.

  1. 2

Congrats on realizing that early. It's so fun to come up with clever names, it's easy to get caught-up in it.
