🚀 PricingBot sold
🤷♂️This month was really really weird for us. We had a really slow start with almost no new customers for the first 8 days of the month. We did not know if it was logical or not. We investigated but could not find anything. After the first weeks, things went back to normal. We also had many interesting leads contacting during this last week of November, leads that we hope will take our custom enterprise plan.
📣 In terms of traffic, the increase from last month in mainly due to the Indie Hacker interview we did sooner this month, available here 👉https://www.indiehackers.com/interview/how-we-turned-two-failures-into-a-2-500-mrr-success-33f7cd2114. We haven't had many times to blog, but this won't be the case in December 😎.
💔This month we really began to understand the importance of churn. With almost one new customer churned every 4 days, we did everything we could to understand why they did, sending as much as 6 emails in a row. The thing is, they all churned because they only needed ScrapingBee for a small amount of time and did not need it anymore, we saw that as a good news.
🚀This month we sold PricingBot, the first SaaS we launched last year that was doing price monitoring. While it was quite easy to find an agreement, the actual process of selling takes a lot of time. You have to answer any questions to many many people and be available for any inquiries they had. This is now behind us and will free us a lot of time to focus on ScrapingBee.
All in all, we are happy with our December results, we have also written our "roadmap" for the next 3 months and I can't wait to share with you all the improvements, features and marketing strategies we want to implement for ScrapingBee.
Happy Indie Hacking!
