Open Report End of the Year edition - $3400 MRR

TL; DR

πŸ”Ž Visitors: 18,100 (+300%)

πŸ‘‹ New Users: 159

🀝 New Customers: 14

πŸ’” Churn: 1

πŸ’° MRR: $3377 (+26%)

This month we got lucky with our Python Scraping Guide and Scrapy Guide that got a lot of success on Reddit. Of course, those kinds of events are not consistently repeatable.

We also spent some time rebuilding the whole blog leveraging landen.co UI + Hugo flexibility.

We also noticed significant improvement in our Google ranking for the mid-high traffic keyword.

Last month we had 8 churned customers πŸ’”and this month we only got one and we don't really know how to explain it. Maybe people were too busy feasting during Christmas πŸ€·β€β™‚οΈ.

About users, customers and MRR December 2019 is one of our best months yet. At first, we feared that we'd not be able to close a lot of leads because of the whole Christmas / New Year thing, but besides a 50% decrease in traffic during those days (25th DEC / 1st January) we haven't noticed anything different.

And now comes 2020 πŸŽ‰.

We can't wait to share with you the exciting thing we have planned for next year. New features, new projects, new content, stay tuned, and happy scrapping.

    Well done!

    Love these types of reports.

You'll probably find that the drop in leads during the December period is countered by a pickup in them through January - that's what we find at Attio anyway!

    Great post.

Seeing this trend as well - 10 churns and just a few new signups, hope to catch up on January.
