9 months of traffic in 30 days

We've just hit 13k unique visitors for the last 30 days.

While it can be rightly seen as vanity metrics we are happy about it because for our last project, PricingBot, we only managed to have 7k unique visitors ... in 9 months.

We got that much traffic purely with content marketing (2 successful posts about web scraping) and ProductHunt.

The hardest part will now to be able to keep the momentum and increase our conversion rate from trial to paid.

Congrats! Great to see it grow! Keep up the good work!

Congrats. What are you using to track the visitor to paid user conversion journey?

We use this very nice and free tool called a division 😂 to track the conversion.

More seriously we don’t use any tool to track our conversion rate right now because we feel that it would be overkill for our volume of users.

To track the journey we tried to do it with Google Analytics but we probably did something wrong because it is buggy.

      Haven’t touched it since

I will check out Division. Google Analytics gave us a similar experience. We are using FullStory now and it's pretty amazing.

Oh sorry about Division it was just a joke ( apparently a bad one ).

Because to compute our conversion all we do is dividing the number of paying customers we have over the number of signup.

It was funny to read your conversation! 😂

Now somebody has to come up with a conversion tracking tool called "Division"!

    Great news!

    Happy to see your success.

Congratulations!! I hope the conversion goes well!

Nice! Where did you do your posts web scraping? Your own blog and then share it on a few platforms?

    Is your trial too generous?

      Thanks !

      We posted on Reddit + dev.to + personnal blog + twitter :).

I really don't know about the trial, wo only offer 1000 free API call, which seems to be pretty standard in the industry.

We currently trying to improve the onboarding and the error handling so people who have trouble using the API know where to look.
