This one customer we had yesterday is special!

Yesterday, something nice happened, something that never happened to any of our previous products.

We managed to have a customer, a real paying customer, and we did not talk to him. He subscribed, used our free tier, received an email that his free tier was over and then boom 💥, he paid.

I remember in my last companies, we sometimes had to literally send 50 emails to some people that would later never convert in customers.

The fact that this time we manage to "organically" and "automatically" convert users to customers is really nice 😎.

    Congratulations!

This is a great opportunity to find out what it was that triggered him. Reach out to him, thank him and ask what made him decide to purchase. That response will show you where the perceived value of your product is strongest, and that will be a catalyst for many more sales when you focus your marketing and value proposition towards that.

I did that with some of our earliest customers, and it was quite surprising to see what I thought convinced them and what actually did.

That is actually a great idea, I always ask for feedback when something goes wrong.

But you are right I should also do it when everything is, or seems, good!

      Thanks

Very cool guys. I remember when we had that happen with our last business. A great win worth celebrating
