Project Shuttered

Although there was some initial traction, this project would need to become a full-fledged podcast player to be successful, which is not something I'm interested in building. The monetization strategy was also unclear.

I learned a lot from Scratchpod. The most important lesson, however, is that it's really hard to create new behaviors rather than improve upon and encourage existing ones.

Kudos to you for practically analyzing the situation and coming to a conclusion without waffling. 👏

Thanks. Yeah, I could have built out a ton of features but I don't think it would have made a difference in the end.

Zugzwang. Sometimes the best move is to not make a move. I am sure you learned a lot from this endeavor and that your next startup adventure will be more fruitful!

Had to look up "Zugzwang". Cool word, and definitely relevant in this situation. As much as I hate throwing away code and disappointing users that bought in to the vision, it'll be for the best in the longrun.
