At the end of January 2021 Servd celebrated (or not, I forgot about it at the time) its one year anniversary since launching publicly.
In that time the platform has grown from $300MRR to ~$12,000MRR and from 5 servers to 70.
With interest in the platform continuing to increase, the growth of the company seems likely to accelerate as more developers and agencies begin to trust that Servd isn't going to disappear any time soon.
Somehow I'm still finding time to build new features and make improvements to the existing platform. Customer support is increasing as you'd expect but is heavily front-loaded. Often once a site is up and running I won't hear much from the developer again. So CS load is primarily correlated with the number of new users (growth) rather than existing users. Which is nice.
I might actually do some marketing soon. I've been threatening to do it for about 6 months.
This year's target was initially $250k ARR. Seems weirdly achievable so might bump that up to $300k and risk disappointing myself.
Solve a real problem, that real people have, and even if it's in a niche and you do basically zero marketing it'll do well.
Or beginners luck 🤷
