I've learned so much on creating products and the importance of shipping, that I wanted to share my knowledge. Shipharder.com is also used to document my own endeavours regarding product development and entrepreneurship.

Focussing On A Viable Idea

I've decided to focus. I stopped some side-projects of mine and/or put them in the fridge to go for my first viable idea (thus providing value for others AND possibly provide me with revenue). Write-up on this: https://www.shipharder.com/time-to-focus-begin-smallest-viable-product/

I am featured as one of the entrepreneurs working on their products and services with my endeavors surrounding Shipharder.com.

I'm still working hard on providing valuable corner-stone content and thinking of ways to gain more traction and provide value.

First posts delivered

Today, I published my second cornerstone blog post for shipharder.com. I published them everywhere I knew they had a possible audience:

  • reddit subforums
  • Social Media (Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram)
  • Hackernews
  • Indie Hackers
  • Dev.to

My first post on Imposter Syndrome got 500 views in its first 12 hours, my second big post about three reasons why I didn't ship got about 490 views in the first 12 hours.

I'm planning on adding more deepening content. Will start posting my first vlogs soon 💪🏻

A new post, last days before vlog and new channels

I wrote a blog post about how Consistence pays off.

Also, I had a epiphany because I had credits for Quuu.com's Promote service (which promotes content like blogs that you can share). I added 2 blog posts so the content on my website gets shared via Quuu.com by other parties as well (and generates traffic). Dev.To is now also a channel on whom I share my content.

Last but not least, my vlogging gear is setup to go ahead. I'm going to share my first vlogs in a few days!

Today the website launched

I put the website online (wordpress) with a theme that suits what I want it to look like and which can bear all my content (podcast, vlog, blog posts, ...)

First article out & reaching out

I launched the initial post. I reached out on Indie Hackers by writing a post and also reached out to the WIP community (by @marckohlbrugge).

I start my journey with a mailing list filled with 13 emails.. wish me luck on growing it!
