The big rewrite

At this point, I was just about to ship v1 of Simple Commerce but I took some steps back to think about it.

Statamic - at its heart - is a flat file content management system. Meaning it stores content as markdown files, instead of in a traditional database...

But why did I build an addon for Statamic that would mean developers would need a database. Wouldn't that put people off using my product at all? After all, people go to Statamic, mainly because of its files approach.

In the end, I made the decision to start development again and so v2 was born.
