Exciting App Update: V4.1

Rajat Vaghani @cybersky

I'm a developer over everything else, and that's my favourite hat to wear for Snap Search. Rolling out app updates is incredibly fun! This one was special for a few reasons:

New Feature:
Save pages offline and open them without internet. Yes, you can literally do that using Snap Search now. 🔥

Improved Speed:
App opens faster, it's faster to switch between our 35+ Search Engines

Reduced APK Size:
Added more features but still managed to cut down the size of the download a new user has to do by ~1.3MB 🥳

The General Updates:

  • Subtle UI changes ✨
  • Crushed bugs 🐞

We also got new screenshots. Check it out on the Play Store 🙂

      Thank you ✌🏼

  2. 1

Yes totally agree that rolling out new updates is totally fun! Although I'm not a developer. But seeing those updates to our app is really, really fun and exciting!

      Absolutely, couldn’t agree more!

Though the moment you press the release button - man that fills me with anxiety.

But once that phase is over and I know the release went well - I start to plan my next one. Just like I’m doing now 🙂

This is really cool! Are you doing all of the UI design by yourself, or are you working with a team member?

    1. 2

      Thank you :)

Everything you see - design, code, front or back - everything has been done by me alone. No team members at all :)

      1. 1

Impressive! Best of luck - the app looks great.

          Thank you so much 🙌🏼
