Snapfont development nearly done

Shash @shash7

So for the last 2 months, I've been working on Snapfont. Here's my observation:

  • The initial prototype was quickly done in about 2 weeks. It was functional and worked as intended.
  • For the next 2-3 weeks, I collected UI/UX feedback and redesigned the app.
  • A lot of time went into building the licensing stuff around the app. This was a big deal. The auth flow was done with the help of Gumroad.
  • Recently, Google made it harder to publish apps with wide permission settings. So if you're app is demanding a lot of permissions, Google will take around 2-3 weeks to review your app after which it will be released in the store. This is a big deal.

Funny how I was optimistic this will be launched in about a month, while the reality is quite the opposite.

  • Finished (super rough) MVP in 1 day
I read somewhere that if you are not ashamed of your MVP then you launched too late. This is why this MVP still has wet paint that needs to be dried,
