A New Search Engine To Find Good Software

Hi everyone!

Discovered IH ~6 months ago.

It's an awesome community and I really feel being part of it. The energy is very good in here :) It's one of the few communities I'm feeling part of to be honest...

So, I started to play the game... Giving opinion to questions, adding one of my saas a few months ago (now at $410 MRR!) and I even surprise myself checking IH out a few times a week now ^^

And, being a perpetual maker, I started looking for a new side-project idea sooner this year.

So I studied PH, IH and the small saas world even more...

I saw very good products! Some made by some of you guys... And I believe they can compete with more expensive solutions from bigger startups. Many deserve more visibility.

Also, to be honest, another reason I started making that search engine is trying to make a product AND a "media" at the same time.

By that I mean making a product that does its marketing by itself. SoftwareCentury is an attempt to do so...

Indeed, marketing is hard when you're a solo maker. And I think we've got to be smart and think of clever ways to have a good product done and marketed almost done by itself...

So... What is SoftwareCentury? It's a simple software search engine.

You type in a keyword and you instantly get results.

You can use it to find better software. Better alternatives. Cheaper software.
Or simply discover new possibilities to grow what you're doing.

It's not perfect. But I hope it can be useful in any way for you.
