I'm very interested in blockchain, smart contracts and all the possibilities chains like Ethereum can bring to the web. SolidityTips is a blog in which I share everything I learn about Solidity and Web3 development.

January 6, 2022 Tutorial: step-by-step web3 message board

I've released a 3 part series with step-by-steps details to build a web3 message board. It's a very basic app but in the tutorial, we go through the details to create a smart contract, compile it, deploy it to a test network, and create a web application that interacts with it.

These are the fundaments to create more complex web3 apps and I'll create other apps in the future.

December 27, 2021 Published first web3 step-by-step tutorials

After writing around 15 articles about solidity fundamentals and quick tips about how to do basic things like working with strings, dates, or math operations I decided it was time to start working on some step-by-step guides.

The first web3 tutorial is a template project that I plan to update and use in most of my web3 projects. It's bootstrapped Vue.js/Typescript web app with TailwindCSS and a button to authenticate users with Metamask.

The second tutorial is the first part of a series in which I'll explain how to create a basic app that reads and write messages in the blockchain.

November 15, 2021 Published 10th article, solidity fundamentals

I've just published the 10th article in the blog and now it feels like it has a decent amount of content. I've covered most of the Solidity fundamentals and a few other basic topics I learned along the way.

Solidity fundamentals

I have more articles ready to be published this week and next week, I'll publish the first web 3.0 app example. It'll be a step-by-step guide creating the small contract and the front end using Vue.js 😊

November 1, 2021 Published 5th article, solidity fundamentals

I've been very consistent in publishing articles on the blog. I started writing about How to run an Ethereum blockchain locally as I think that's one of the most important things to learn when you start learning blockchain development.

The second article was an introduction to Hardhat a framework I've been using to create my first projects.

The next articles were focused on Solidity fundamentals:

Looking forward to finishing with the basic information and writing step-by-step guides to build basic apps and games

October 26, 2021 From idea to MVP in one day

I've decided to start a blog to share everything I learn about Solidity and Web3.

I have a blog repo ready in which I only have to change some styles so after buying the domain I had it running in just a few hours.

Luckily for me, SolidityTips.com was available 😊
