I've been meaning to ask users about what their thoughts of the system are, but (as tech people tend to do) I got caught up trying to make the system better, tweaking and improving the design, etc. Yesterday I sent out 55 emails with the following format:
Herman here from Some words for me.
We're constantly busy improving our service and would love to
hear any feedback you have for Some words for me.
Could you please fill in the form below, at the end there's a little
thank you from us.

The feedback form has 4 simple questions:
1 - Rate the system overall 1-5
2 - What do you like about the system?
3 - What was confusing or unclear about the system?
4 - What are your thoughts on the current price? ($4 pm)
It ends with giving the user a lifetime discount on Some words for me.
So far I have 4 responses that have been very constructive.
I should have done this a month ago ;)
