In early August, Sunshine got picked up by Lifehacker and a simple but highly visible post about us ended up driving a lot of traffic our way and led more than doubling our members. The more people a social network has, the more dynamic it tends to become.
How do you get people to sign up when the website says nothing about what it is?
Mostly word of mouth at this point. When I first acquired the site it didn't even have the name on the site, it was just a login and register form. I'll be focusing on branding / marketing for the site over the coming weeks and months.
