Syrreo - It was started as a side project to help manage an existing business. I need an application with the ability to add products with attributes, send quotes to clients, clients approve quotes, which become Orders.

Beta Launch - 4th Qtr 2018

I have been using this app since 2016 to manage my business. Over the past three years, the app has evolved as did my needs.

I know Productivity / Business Management SaaS are a dime a dozen but each app offers something different hover, none provides all.

Finilaized the name!

Syrreo - A Greek word (Συρρεω) translation - Flow Together or Flock.

Started Building / Developing

I took several months off in 2015 to be with my newborn son. I thought this would be a great time to start working on my SaaS. So I started writing down features and type of workflow I will want.

Due to my non-tech/coder background, I had to find someone cheap or at least reasonably priced individual who can help me develop this web app.

After executing the local search, I start looking on Freelancer.com and found a small team from India. I created the workflow, mockups, wireframe everything they possibly need to complete the project. I realized pretty quickly that you get what you pay for...where it was supposed to take 3 months to develop the entire application. It took 3 months to develop a single module, which was pretty buggy. However, I wasn't ready to give up, I went back to freelancer.com and found another team. It took another 3 months to have a MVP, still 3/4 of the app needed to be developed.

Due to the time difference and constant questions, I started to stay up most of the night with the team to minimize the errors. Very soon, days become nights and nights become day.... After about a year, we had our first draft of the complete app.

Better late than never!

In 2010, I was stuck in Hawaii for a few months due to health reasons there I had a difficult time keep tabs on my existing print & promo agency business. My concern was not employee theft but customer orders, meeting the client deadlines, orders being approved by the client, are they being delivered on time., etc.

I always wanted to develop the SaaS but got busy with work and family and kept postponing. I'll start tomorrow, however tomorrow came after 5years.
