3 daily sessions per device, 1 week post launch

Starting to share my journey on here mainly to highlight:

  1. Wins and shortcomings
  2. New discoveries
  3. Have some accountability in my weekly business/technical self-review

Most of my traffic is organic from the app store so I'm going to optimize my preview images, description, and title a bit more to capitalize on that.

Marketing wise, I released my first blog so I will have to wait and see what kind of traffic that might generate for my app in a month or so. I will continue to write 1 blog per week to help others and share my app in the process.

Tech wise, I need to just come to terms that my design sucks, I'm not good at it, and just keep working and iterating what I have. I'm not at the level of others, I just started, and it's okay to be terrible. But with continued iteration, not giving up, and constantly trying to learn and improve I can get it to that level. Just stay patient and shoot for the small improvements. It will add up, after all, I did go from idea to product in 2.5 months, I think I'm proud of that.

Most importantly, I know that my app is actually helping (very small amount) athletes like me try to be better every day. That was my mission all along and without B.S. I can say that an average of 3 people a day find value in what I provide them in their daily lives.

The goal for September is 10, so let's try to get there.

FOCUS is:

  1. Continue to constantly collect feedback from users + potential users and iterate app, despite how negative I feel about it's current state or progress. Being poopy pants and complaining about how I'm not good enough and my app will never look like what's at the top of the charts is worthless. Keep going
  2. App store optimization. Better images, description, and tags
  3. Trying more marketing. 1 blog post per week, try out youtube video ideas, use connections and urge them to try it, reach out individually to people I think can benefit from it
