Signed up as a Mentor on MentorCruise

Many years ago, I thought I was a programmer and would stay one for life. Then, all of a sudden, I became an Entrepreneur. Then, a long time after that, I became a successful entrepreneur. After selling my business FeedbackPanda, I turned my attention to writing, which turned me into a writer — and, without really ever intending to be one, a teacher.

I've always been a consultant, and I still consult at this point. I've even been blessed with a very public and very kind review of one of my consulting sessions just yesterday!

Now, I want to lean into mentoring, and I've taken the first step by opening a profile on MentorCruise. I've been a fan of that platform for a while, and I've been accepted as a mentor a few days ago.

I got inspired to do this by a few people. First off, a few weeks before I had the opportunity to have my own Indie Hackers Podcast appearance, I listened to Courtland chatting with Dominic about MentorCruise. That put it into my mind initially. Later on, Dominic and I chatted on Twitter, that jogged my memory. Finally, Rosie Sherry posted about joining MentorCruise a few weeks ago, which finally got me to look into it.

So here it is again, my MentorCruise profile: https://mentorcruise.com/mentor/ArvidKahl/ — please come check it out and see if we'd be a good fit.

Within four hours of my sharing the profile link online, I had gotten my first mentee, from application to accepting it.

Now, a day later, I am talking to two more potential mentees. What an amazing journey so far.
