Since the last time I've updated this, I've updated the tech stack of the blog twice. Insane.
The site is now entirely open source and is built with Next.js, markdown, and TailwindCSS.
I also added a newsletter component using Revue: https://newsletter.drew.tech/
I wrote my first post that got over 1,000 pageviews. I learned that it's super important to talk from the heart and be real with people.
The Open Startup movement and some wise words from Sahil Lavingia on the Indie Hackers podcast are what inspired me to be more transparent.

I used Stackbit to generate a GatsbyJS project. Stackbit automatically does a few things:
- creates starter code w/ theme (I picked the Ampersand theme)
- connects to CMS of your choice
- connects to Netlify
With all of this, I was up and running in just a few minutes.
