I have got the first two Subscribers recently. I am looking for feedback as to what am I missing or doing wrong? Or what can I do to add more value to the newsletter!

I understand the content is the king, so from the 3rd issue onwards, I tried making the newsletter more detailed and personal by involving my personal expereinces.

I plan to publish up to 21 newsletter issues by the end of 2021 and hope to have somewhere between 100-500 subscribers.

Where do you think I can improve? or what should i do to promote my newsletter to get more subscribers?

August 3, 2021 New Idea: A Newsletter

Let me tell you how it all started :

I started working solo in Dec 2021. I Started with Freelancing @ Fiverr because I didn't know any better.

It worked well for a quarter with all five-star ratings and achieving Level 1 on Fiverr but somehow three months later my sales started dropping. In March I had Zero Sales.

I realized I am heavily dependent on the platform and small fluctuations in the platform's algorithm can affect my sales, and not to forget the cutthroat competition on the platform.

Another realization was, if you are working solo, you gotta have a website where you can showcase your work. I bought a domain and started building my portfolio @ Rahultyagi.com

Once i had my website up, it got me thinking about what digital products i can build.

For the next two months i tried building some web projects which failed, eventually I realized my best shot is if i build a free product, one paid product and an audience to share my products with.

I anyway wanted to share my learnings with other creators so a newsletter was the obvious choice. - It would help me build an audience while sharing my best learnings.

That was the initial idea to be honest. So I am gonna start from scratch and build this newsletter.

More updates coming soon!
