A made this tool because I've changed jobs a lot and needed a way to compare offers based on my career goals and lifestyle and I wanted a better way than to just go by feel. I wanted to use math and statistics!

June 6, 2021 Crossed $300 in revenue!

I hit a new milestone with 40 sales and $300+ in revenue!

This includes both Gumroad and AppSumo marketplaces and it includes discounts. This does not take into account any kind of platform fees or taxes of that nature.

I'm currently raising my prices at jobindecision.xyz and am about to raise prices on the LTD at AppSumo (https://appsumo.com/products/marketplace-the-job-indecision-calculator/)

April 14, 2021 Hit 25 Sales!

I hit a new milestone at 25 sales and $181 in revenue!

This does include me giving away a few copies for free and some heavy early discounts, but I'm very proud of the progress so far.

Next steps are to see if my new raised price will be as effective as I prepare for my launch on ProductHunt and hopefully AppSumo.

April 14, 2021 Raised Prices

As of today, The Job Indecision Calculator costs $20 instead of the initial offer at $12. I raised prices after getting feedback that what I was selling could be compared to a Career Coach and that in comparison, my prices should easily go up. Fingers crossed this goes well!

March 28, 2021 My First Sale

After some initial idea validation on Reddit, I then did a soft launch on Reddit and got my first sale. This all happened in the course of about three hours and after chatting with a few user and giving away a few copies of the product for free. This was really exciting!

March 20, 2021 Decided to Make a Product

I've read so many times that you should solve your own problem, and so last week I sat down and decided I wanted to make and sell my first digital product.

The Job Indecision Calculator was something I had been using personally for years and I thought I should share that information with the world.
