This was my first time managing an email campaign of any type and my first time using MailChimp to do so. The goal for my first issue was to setup a process for curating or creating content for the newsletter. For curation I built a Trello board I can use to store links to articles I may publish. As I get closer to the publishing date I'll find a handful of articles I think are good and I begin summarizing. Once I have enough for the next issue, I build the email in MailChimp.
So far so good, I'm still tweaking my writing style and getting a feel for what and what doesn't work with regard to the content and marketing the newsletter.
