Published 10 stories of successful remote workers!

We started working on 'The Remote Working Chronicles' two months back with a singular goal in mind - share the motivation, transition, challenges, likes/ dislikes & the overall journey of successful remote workers.

We strongly believe that there are a great deal of things and a huge number of personal experiences, each remote worker has to share. The Remote Working Chronicles aims to inform, educate and even entertain its readers through such stories.

We are delighted to share that we now have 10 amazing stories published! Would love to hear the community's thoughts and feedback :)

Cool idea! The world needs more interview sites, jaja

I would say that this should be a website in it's own right. I found being taken to the content.remote.tools URL confusing and a bit off-putting.

I think as well something snappier would be good for the name 😀

      Thanks Pete :)

Hmm, interesting point! Working on it :)

My bandwidth is pretty minimal right now because of my full-time job, but I'd love to submit a story one day. For my full-time job, I work on a remote team of 25+ people spread across three different countries and lots of timezones, and so far it's been a really enjoyable and interesting experience.

Hey Caitlin, would love to have your story as part of the Chronicles :) Would be great if we can sync up offline to see how we can best work this out!

We are also working on an ambitious project - the "Remote Work 2020" report! This report will include survey results as well as a guide tackling the most-discussed topics in the field of remote working. The guide will draw from our learnings gained through podcasts and also experiences shared by remote workers.

Would be super helpful if you could share the survey with your team (and of course, fill it yourself :-)). It is a pretty short survey and shouldn't take longer than 2 minutes. Here is the survey link: https://www.remote.tools/remote-work-2020-survey.

Filled it out - I'll see if any of my coworkers are willing to fill it out themselves!

Wow great idea! I will check it out asap. Are you going to continue publishing these stories? How is your feeling about freshness of the stories, might they repeat themselves soon?

      Thanks Philip!

Absolutely! We intend to continue publishing more stories and in fact, plan one each week - have 3-4 in the the pipeline right now :)

We strongly feel each person has a unique story to tell and we have seen that happen already! For example, if you go through Reid, Francesco and Alondo's story, you will find them to be extremely different despite all of them being developers :)
