Why... a blog? What year is this?

I was reading a d3.js book these holidays, and it struck me. I should start a blog.

Yup, I’m about 20 years too late to a blog. But hey, you have to start somewhere.

I started a blog for content marketing reasons with my last venture, and immensely enjoyed it. I’m very interested in data science, especially in data visualisation and communicating complex ideas and subjects through great visualisations of the relevant data.

So blogging about data visualisation is going to be my focus here, whether they be NBA analysis, or tutorials on how I did something.

Eventually, I hope to start something adjacent to this as my next indiehacker project - but for now, I want to focus on this while I further develop my data visualisation and analysis skills and help people along in this journey.
