April 7, 2021 Gumroad Day

Gumroad Day was good😀

Dropped the price to $1, (usually the bundle sells for 15 bucks)

Posted on Twitter a lot, got a few conversions from the newsletter audience as well.

Made $137 from 87 sales.

The best part is that some people paid way more than they had to.

People were generous with their tips, and that was awesome.

March 31, 2021 Gathered the courage to post it on IH

After thinking about it for long, decided to add the product to my IH profile.
It's not a traditional SaaS product, it's an info product, so it doesn't have MRR, I charge for sales, not for subscriptions.
For what it's worth, it has made $65 dollars so far.
It's awesome because these are our first dollars on the internet.
It's not as great coz we don't have any audience.
That is the biggest lesson from this, need an audience to sell a product to.

March 7, 2021 Released it in the wild

After sitting up all night and giving the final touches to the product. We released it to the public on March 7th.

Announced to the email list, to our Twitter audience.

Got some sales after this as well.

Great learning experience. Wrote a detailed post on the lessons here :

February 28, 2021 Came up with the Idea

Came up with the idea.
Wrote some Sales copy, setup the pre-sell on Gumroad, and emailed it to The Wisdom Project subscriber.
Shared on Twitter.
Got the first sales within the first 24 hours😅
These are our first dollars on the internet. So very excited!
