After my failed startup Scoops, I was trying to find a job. Ended up combing 45+ job boards, social media feeds, ATSes, and more, everyday to find all new jobs. Felt I'd love to be able to pay someone $5 to do it for me!

April 8, 2020 Reached $100 MRR for a no-code job board

Theo is a remote design job board that finds ALL new jobs in one place (or more than anyone else anyway). https://theojobs.com/

Biggest problem has actually been distribution. I'm pretty sure I have p/m fit - people who have been using it love it, and when I offered to give it for free to folks laid off from COVID-19 I had such a huge response it brought the site down.

I've just been blogging and posting on reddit - need to find a better way to reach designers looking for jobs though.

I tried Google Adwords, thinking CPMs are down and it would fit right in with people's intents but after spending $30 I got 0 conversions out of it so I don't think that's the way to go.

After my failed startup Scoops, I was trying to find a job. Ended up combing 45+ job boards, social media feeds, ATSes, and more, everyday to find all new jobs. It was exhausting. I'd have paid someone $5 or more a month to do it for me, so I went and built this myself to see if anyone else would pay me to do it!

Used Bubble.io to build it with no-code. I'm a designer :) Anyway, I ended up joining another startup as their head of design. Testing this now as a sort of side project. Would love for it to be able to provide some supplemental income after my earnings hit last year.
