Gone open source, and renamed to TimeTagger

After several weeks of work, I finished splitting the project into two components. The vast majority is now available as an open source time tracker. Specific details like authentication and subscription plans is implemented in a private repo.

Along the way, the app has got a lot better in many ways:

  • Using tags instead of projects.
  • A more intuitive interface.
  • A major restyle.
  • Dark mode!

I'm very excited about this. Now it's time to promote it :)

Almar, love what you are building. I posted this on HN. https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=25762715. There is a Typo on the license.

Thanks for that! That's a lot of traffic for a site that's just up a couple of hours, lol.
