We Launched Hammock!

September 30, 2019
Hammock is now live and ready for users to sign up!

This is the first product we've shipped together, and it was quite the undertaking. Everything seemed to take longer than expected, and we still have a ton of features we want to build out, but I feel confident that this is the correct starting point. I'm so excited to start getting feedback on what we have so far!

Hammock is a product that helps freelancers manage the unpredictability of income. We do this by tracking your income and expenses, estimating quarterly tax payments, and using that information to determine your runway.

I think our product could be particularly helpful for indie hackers who are freelancing on the side. For example, I use my runway (or the number of months I can pay myself without bringing in additional income) to estimate how long I can work on Hammock without taking on additional clients.

We're offering Hammock for free until the end of the year while we gather feedback and add new features. If you are interested, you can sign up here: http://www.tryhammock.com

Just one thing, can't go further on setup because banks choice doesn't exist? Is european banks ok? In particular Portugal :) ?

Ah Bummer! Unfortunately, the service we're using to hook into bank accounts is only for US Banks :( If we see a decent number of Europeans interested we can look at adding support!
