I created TweetSpacer because writing tweets and threads on Twitter can be frustrating and distracting. I also wanted to write multiple tweets in the morning but publish them throughout the day.

March 9, 2021 Got My 5th Customer

I know it's only 1 more than the 4 I got last week, but I think it's significant because it proves that last week wasn't just a fluke. This customer came after I made another post on IndieHackers.

Seeing that there's a connection between writing a post that promotes TweetSpacer and getting a new customer is a strong signal that I'm moving in the right direction. it suggets that this is product that people want and I'm promoting it in the right place to attract those people. Now I just need to optimize where and how I promote it and make the product better and better for my existing customers.

March 3, 2021 Got My First 4 Customers

This was pretty exciting. I had never made any money as an entrepreneur before and I'd been doing it for 2.5 years. Ironically, it was a post about exactly that that got me my first 3 customers.

I got a 4th customer by following up with people who commented on an earlier post where I demoed TweetSpacer. Anyone who expressed interest, I replied later on to let them know TweetSpacer was now live.

March 1, 2021 Finished MVP

I spent the past 6 weeks building the first version of TweetSpacer. I set March 1st as a deadline and even committed to it publicly in this video that I posted on IndieHackers.

Even after cutting some nice-to-have features, I was working on it down to the wire, but in the end I made the deadline.

January 15, 2021 I saw a Need in Me and in Others

After interviewing lot's of newsletter creators and immersing myself in the world of newsletters, I noticed a lot of newsletter creators tweet frequently. I also wanted to tweet frequently but I didn't like tweeting on Twitter. I would get distracted and it was hard to manage threads. I also wanted the ability to create a fixed schedule and just have my tweets slot into that schedule. So I bought TweetSpacer.com and started coding...
