Releasing on the Chrome Webstore

In order to release the extension on the chrome web store, several steps had to be taken. Firstly, I had to register an account on the platform. After which, I had to pay a fee in order to be able to upload and release the extension on the store. Once the fee was paid, the extension had to go through a validation process to ensure that it met all the necessary requirements and standards. This process includes a review of the extension's code, user interface, and functionality to ensure that it is safe and does not contain any malicious code. Only after this validation process was complete, was the extension able to be published on the store and made available to users.
