Now that The Ultimate Email Marketing Guide for Indie Creators has been launched last week, what next?
Here are 4 things I'm doing to keep promoting it and making it better.
1/ I've enabled this guide as an additional affiliate tool
Our affiliates can share the guide using their affiliate link.
Because this guide provides so much value, plus it's free and there's no opt-in required... sharing it is easy and not "salesy" at all 😁
2/ I've started answering questions (from emails, social media, support tickets) by directing folks to specific sections of the guide.
Because it covers almost everything you need to know about email marketing, so far it has been able to answer every question 😅
3/ I'll constantly improve the guide by updating and adding my experiments and learnings.
The goal is to make this the #1 email marketing guide for indie creators.
I want it to be the go-to resource for indie creators who want to learn or up their email marketing game 💪
4/ I've created an email series to nurture folks who opted-in to get the guide's bonuses.
Never "ghost" subscribers after they've given you their email address.
Be responsible. Nurture them to turn them into customers, so that you can provide maximum value to these folks 🥰
I've launched the guide on Product Hunt on August 25, 2021.
There are 3 reasons why I’ve created this guide:
1/ I couldn’t find a comprehensive (A-Z) email marketing guide specifically for indie / content creators.
2/ I couldn’t find a guide where creators can quickly jump to specific email marketing topics from within a central dashboard.
If you’re advanced in email marketing, simply choose your own adventure and jump to specific topics you want to learn more about.
If you’re new, you can consume from start to finish and it’ll make sense as the sections are coherent.
3/ To serve as a lead generator for my email marketing tool -- BirdSend.
But to implement the strategies and techniques in the guide, you don’t need to use BirdSend. You can use most good email tools.
If you’re an indie /content creator wanting to learn or up your email marketing game, I hope you find the guide helpful.
So grateful for your support and happy to answer any questions! 🙏
In May 2021, I was trying to grow sales for BirdSend email marketing tool.
I asked Twitter friends for ideas.
A few creators chimed in and suggested some interesting ideas. I especially liked this idea that Luke came up with -- which is to create THE guide to email marketing.
I couldn’t find a comprehensive (A-Z) email marketing guide specifically for indie creators. I also couldn't find one where creators can quickly jump to specific email marketing topics from within a central dashboard.
