First detractor

It can look odd to celebrate the fact of having a first detractor. But honestly, I see this as a strong signal for multiple reasons:

  1. Your service is "deep" enough to make people react. In this case, it makes people tell you what is wrong and how it can be better.
  2. It makes you ponder if you can stand critics on this project. In other words, if this project matters enough to you that you are willing to embrace the critics and step forward.
  3. It is a strong reality check. When your service is going to scale, you will face criticism more and more. The sooner, the better.
